Position in - Job Title: Business Solutions Consultant Reports to: Business Solutions Manager Department: Business Solutions Job Purpose: The Business Solutions Consultant is a key role in contributing to the growth of business within the Americas Division, providing essential Business Solutions using the AVEVA Portfolio. Dimensions: - The consultant will have responsibility for the delivery of Presentations covering the AVEVA Portfolio anywhere in the North America region.
- Elicit positive feedback from and/or establish a respected reputation among technical specialists both within AVEVA and among the user community.
Principal Accountabilities: - Work with members of the technical and sales teams to help develop solution positioning and client proposals.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the products and processes for which the job holder is responsible.
- Provide AVEVA product sales support as required to customers in the Americas Division.
- Develop technical skills within the primary domain and into other AVEVA product areas to assist in the growth of the Business Solutions team in the Americas.
Important Working Relationships: - Sales: Work with the sales team in identifying opportunities, providing technical support at all levels of customer engagement and responding to product support issues.
- Customers: Develop good working relationships with clients and always provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
- Technical Services and Solutions Delivery: Work with the Technical Services and Solutions Delivery teams to assure AVEVA Solutions proposals meet opportunity requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: The individual will have: - At least five years' experience in a related industry sector.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering or business discipline.
- Practical experience of the applications associated with process facility design project life cycle.
- Knowledge of the plant engineering, design, procurement, and construction business either from an owner-operator or engineering contractor background.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team.
- Willingness to travel within the USA and abroad to perform consultancy tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage and handle multiple and possibly competing commitments simultaneously.
- Strong customer-facing skills with excellent presentation skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Eligible to work in the USA.
