Job Title: Senior Account Manager Reports to: East Territory Sales Manager Department: Sales Job Purpose: This position plays a key role in contributing to the growth of the North America Region. The candidate will be responsible for executing a sales strategy to penetrate new accounts in the Power and Energy Industries with emphasis in Nuclear and Fossil as well as ensuring existing customers expand product take up with the objective of producing profitable business revenues through the licensing of AVEVA solutions, which includes products, training and services to clients. Principal Accountabilities: - Plan and coordinate sales activities to achieve assigned quota for Plant and AVEVA NET Solutions.
- Develop and expand new sales pipeline.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
- Deliver sales messaging and presentations consistent with our corporate direction.
- Maintain and expand solution take up at assigned accounts.
- Develop and manage new sales leads within the Power Industry.
- Leverage existing relationships and develop new long-term customer relationships to achieve customer goals.
- Must be able to work with Global team members on any assigned Global accounts.
- Secure meaningful appointments with qualified decision makers.
- Provide accurate price quotations based on approved pricing guidelines.
- Provide and maintain accurate monthly forecast.
- Work with Business Solutions Manager to plan and provide technical product information, presentations and/or demos.
- Work with the AVEVA North America team to set sales strategy for large opportunities as required.
Important Working Relationships: - Develop excellent working relationships with clients at all levels within an organization, and always provide a high level of customer support and professionalism.
- Liaison with Business Solutions and Technical Services Application Manager/Engineers.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with AVEVA executives.
- Liaison with AVEVA Global Account Managers, Global Business Development and Global Business Consulting for International accounts located outside the Americas Division as required.
- Engage Project Management and Solutions Delivery personnel for AVEVA implementation and support for assigned accounts.
- Liaison with Legal and Finance for invoicing and licensing of applications to clients.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: - BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- At least 10 years' experience selling solutions to the Power or Plant Process Industry or similar.
- Highly motivated to exceed annual sales target.
- Good technical background gained in the Plant Process industry with particular emphasis in Nuclear power and strong knowledge of fossil power.
- Experience using a CRM database.
- Innovative, creative, and persuasive team player.
