Position in Calgary - CanadaReports to VP of Western Sales Operation Department Sales Job Purpose This position is a key role in contributing to the growth of our company. The candidate will be responsible for increasing sales in existing assigned accounts as well as developing a sales strategy to penetrate new accounts with the objective of producing profitable business revenues through the licensing of AVEVA solutions, which included products, training and services to clients. Plan and coordinate sales activities to achieve assigned quota for Plant Solutions within assigned accounts and/or territory. Generate new business by developing leads and/or expanding existing accounts. Dimensions Have the industry experience to become a trusted advisor to clients. Have a proven ability to multi-task and execute assignments on time. Thoroughly understand Solution Selling. Principal Accountabilities - Deliver sales messaging and presentations consistent with our corporate direction.
- Follow up on existing and new sales leads within assigned accounts/territories.
- Develop long term customer relationships and achieve customer satisfaction goals.
- Responsible for direct sales to assigned clients within the Americas Region.
- Must be able to work with Global team members on any assigned Global accounts.
- Secure appointments with qualified decision makers.
- Recommend AVEVA products and service solutions designed to help customers achieve their objectives.
- Provide accurate price quotations based on approved pricing guidelines.
- Provide and maintain a monthly forecast.
- Work with our Technical Application Consultants to provide technical product information, presentations and/or demos.
- Work with the AVEVA team to set Sales strategy for large opportunities.
Important Working Relationships - Develop a good working relationship with clients at all levels within an organization, and always provide a high level of customer support and professionalism.
- Liaison with both Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Application Support Engineers.
- Liaison with AVEVA Global Account Managers for International accounts located outside the Americas Region.
- Liaison with Project Management personnel for AVEVA implementation and support for assigned accounts.
- Liaison with legal and finance for invoicing and licensing of applications to clients.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required - BA/BS or equivalent work experience. Masters Degree or other advanced certification is preferred.
- At least five, preferably ten, years experience selling Solutions and Services to the Plant Process and Power Industry.
- Highly motivated to achieve annual sales target.
- Experience using a CRM database.
