Spoof E-mails

Warning - spoof e-mails

AVEVA is aware that from time to time e-mail users may receive unsolicited e-mail which appears to come from a representative of AVEVA. Usually these e-mails will be offering jobs or other remuneration and the recipients are requested to provide a great deal of personal information. The information contained in these e-mails is false and we advise that you do not respond.

We take this matter very seriously. The e-mails come from a variety of aliases and we would emphasise that these persons are in no way connected to AVEVA nor are their activities endorsed by AVEVA.

Please be aware that AVEVA does not use any form of unsolicited e-mail for advertising for jobs or representatives. All genuine business e-mail communications from AVEVA will only originate from our aveva.com domain.

Should you receive any e-mail which you have reason to suspect is not genuine please send it to abuse@aveva.com preferably as an attachment to preserve the associated header information to assist in our investigation.

This is a growing problem across the industry and, with the growth of anonymous accounts, open hotspots and lack of overall control, will continue so we have to remain vigilant against such e-mails. AVEVA can not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by such third party communications.

Thank you.
