AVEVA VPE Workbench
Create, use and report on engineering project information
AVEVA VPE Workbench is a scalable Oracle database application which contains and manages the evolving engineering definitions and interconnections of all tagged items in a plant, such as lines, valves, vessels, instruments, equipment, electric motors, junction boxes and MCCs. Engineering data and properties are entered and handled within a completely integrated database schema.
VPE Workbench manages not only the quality and consistency of engineering information, but also its interdisciplinary flow within the application and its availability to external systems.

Powerful workflow management controls data through each stage of development. A flexible, item-based lifecycle controls the visibility of released information between departments and can be customised to your project's specific needs. Data change between versions is highlighted. Engineering information may be used in a consistent and controlled manner by co-located or geographically dispersed project teams. Advanced data and workflow management capabilities allow engineering changes to be managed, tracked, audited, and distributed seamlessly across the whole project team. All engineering deliverables, P&IDs, datasheets and reports can be securely and appropriately managed. Tailored modules enable the most efficient creation, control and use of engineering data by each specialist engineering discipline: |
